New Instructor Training


2026 Licensing Event

It's time to renew your instructor license!
Instead of a sit and get conference, this year will focus on assisting with the bi-annual BMV licensing requirements.

The 2026 Licensing Event will be April 24, 2026


Time: 9:00am - 2:30pm
Cost: $85
Location: 3500 Depauw Blvd. Pyramid 3 - 2nd Floor, Indianapolis, IN 46268
Cost includes physical, fingerprinting, and BMV application fee

Two-step registration process:

  1. Register and pay for attendees online (link below)
    • Schools may register and pay for up to 25 attendees in 1 transaction
    • Use coupon code PO for purchase orders or pay later
  2. Secure your time by pre-registering with IDENTGO before licensing day
    • An email is sent directly after registering that includes the instructions on how to sign up for fingerprinting
    • Each attendee should pre-register themselves

Our association consists of instructors from the private and public sectors.

The Mission of the Indiana Driver Education Association is to assist driver education providers in offering the highest quality affordable and available driver education training to the citizens of Indiana.

The Association works toward accomplishing its purpose through conferences, development and dissemination of materials, consulting, and technical assistance and through other activities appropriate to carry out its Mission.
